Filipino Food Month Celebrated in London with the Launch of the “Filipino Food Crawl” Campaign London, United Kingdom, April 2026, in celebration of the Filipino Food Month, the Taste Philippine Movement proudly announces the launch of the Filipino Food Crawl in London, a city-wide culinary campaign running from April to May 2026.
The initiative invites food lovers across the United Kingdom to explore the rich and diverse flavors of Filipino cuisine by visiting participating Filipino restaurants across London. Through an interactive stamp-collection mechanic, participants will be rewarded for dining at multiple locations—encouraging discovery, repeat visits, and deeper engagement with Filipino food culture.
The campaign aims to bring Filipino cuisine closer to British audiences, support Filipino-owned businesses, and strengthen the presence of Philippine gastronomy in the UK.
The Filipino Food Crawl in London positions Filipino cuisine not only as a vibrant culinary experience but also as a meaningful tool of cultural diplomacy.
Through this initiative, food becomes a gateway to deeper cultural understanding, introducing British audiences to the Philippines’ rich heritage, regional diversity, and contemporary creativity. By encouraging the public to explore Filipino restaurants across London, the campaign supports the expanding Filipino Food Movement in the UK, while driving increased foot traffic, sales, and visibility to Filipino-owned establishments.
More broadly, the campaign reinforces the Philippines’ positioning as an emerging culinary destination in Asia, aligned with the national tourism campaign, “Love the Philippines.” This initiative contributes to a broader strategy of converting culinary interest into actual visitation, inspiring British travelers to experience the Philippines firsthand through immersive gastronomic journeys.
“Filipino cuisine tells the story of who we are as a people: our history, our diversity, and our creativity,” said Teodoro Locsin Jr., Philippine Ambassador to the United Kingdom. “Through initiatives like the Filipino Food Crawl, we are not only sharing our food, but also strengthening cultural ties between the Philippines and the United Kingdom.”
He added, “London is one of the world’s great convergence points of various cultures, and this campaign presents a valuable opportunity to further introduce Filipino flavors to a global audience and to highlight the Philippines as a destination worthy of exploration, not only for its natural beauty, but for its rich and evolving culinary heritage.”
